Comment Mbappé a Profité de la Trêve : Entre le Real Madrid et Eden Hazard
Kylian Mbappé (25) took an unexpected breather during the recent international break as France manager Didier Deschamps opted not to call up the Real Madrid forward for the final UEFA Nations League group stage matches against Israel and Italy. This marked the second consecutive international break where Mbappé’s presence at Clairefontaine was missed, allowing the French star to enjoy a quieter period of recovery and relaxation.
Physical and Mental Recharge
Mbappé used the downtime to focus on recharging both mentally and physically. Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti praised the striker’s improved physical condition, saying, “From what he shows, Mbappé doesn’t seem to have any mental issues. He looks happy to be here. Speculating on issues like this is a bit ugly.”
Mbappé’s training at Real Madrid’s Valdebebas facility from Monday to Thursday last week reportedly included more intensive physical sessions than usual. The aim was to fine-tune his fitness as Los Blancos prepare for a busy period.
Off-Pitch
Mbappé also took time to unwind. He spent an afternoon go-karting with former Real Madrid star Eden Hazard, who edged out the Frenchman in their race. Later, Mbappé returned to Paris to reconnect with former PSG teammates Achraf Hakimi and Arnau Tenas. The trio spent Sunday playing padel, a sport that has become a favorite pastime among footballers.
Looking Ahead
While his absence from France’s squad has raised questions, including speculation about his status as captain, Mbappé’s focus appears firmly set on delivering for Real Madrid. With Carlo Ancelotti praising his attitude and improved fitness, the forward seems ready to lead Los Blancos as they navigate a demanding season.
As the debate over his international role continues, Mbappé is using his downtime wisely, preparing to excel both on and off the pitch.
